Sunroom

The summer of 2017 we saw the need to repair, expand and have a facelift of the Sunroom, a project joining  1081 Andrews and 1084 Powers. The completed project offers expanded usable space for the Adult Day Program, additional socialization space for the Residents and families from the Personal Care side, and a pleasant recreation common room environment for the tenants at 1084 and 1080 Powers.

Supporting this project was a priority for the Board and the Fundraising Committee and had kicked off its fundraising initiative with a very successful Bake Sale held on October 13th, 2017 in the Link area. The sale was coordinated by Kathryn Hnatuk from the front office and exceeded all expectation for donations and participation. The sale brought together our community of residents, families, friends, tenants, Board members and staff, involving various roles of bakers and buyers. The sale of baked items, other specially prepared goodies and cash donations resulted in a total of $2,000.00 designated to the Sunroom project. Many, many thanks to all for a great kickoff event.
